Feed trained crappie vs. nonfeed trained

Pretty obvious in the photo which black crappie (Pomoxis nigromaculatus) has not accepted the artificial feed. In the end it appears I had about a 50 percent success rate for feed training. Should get better with each succeeding generation. At first it appeared nearly all were gravitating to the feed but apparently some just approached it but did not partake. 

The remainder of the fish are plump and eager to feed as they gather underneath me in the tank as soon as I show up.

Seems fish can be much like some people.  "You can lead a horse to water, but........"
