Catawba worms

1 post in this topic

This larvae grows on local trees. The adult will lay so many eggs till trees are overwhelmed. Luckily these guys make great fish bait. Largest bass and brim I caught using one. No one in my area locally sells them but some years we have some many they cover our walls . Birds love them too and help out with the they overproduce . We probably have 500 trees to harvest from. Best way to feed or fish with them is to turn them inside out. They store well in the refrigerator too.
