GaborSulcz posted a topic in EQUIPMENTHi There,We were working on this project in the last 3 years and it's finally ready: We created a smart system for aquaponics (and also hydroponics), which have controllable relays for pumps, valves, grow ligths etc. , could check PH, EC, temperature, light and humidity and always online, so you can check all the key parameters even on you phone. The project is now runs on Kickstrater and I wanted to share it with you, hope you will like it! Check out our Kickstarter here: kck.st/2QgMdYV Please le me know, what is your opinion about the project or ask me if you need any more information.Hope you will back us and be one of the first AquaShield users! Thanks,GáborFounder and CEO of AquaShield
Hello my name is Mary Blevins, I'm a student at Washington State University developing an automated aquaponics system for current aquaponics owners. The problem with current systems is that they are time and energy consuming. They require the grower to monitor a variety of water characteristics including pH levels, flow rate, and nutrient levels. To solve this problem we have created an automated system utilizing innovative technology and real-time monitoring. I have a few questions that will help move this product forward and I would greatly appreciate any feedback! 1.) What is the biggest hassle you face in setting up or running your aquaponics system? 2.) How much time would you estimate you spend monitoring/maintaining your aquaponics system vitals? 3.) Do you see use for this product? If so, what would you be willing to pay? Thank you!
