4x11 hydroponic grow bed March 2015 #1

This grow bed is 4 foot wide by 11 foot long. It's divided into a 4x4 foot section of gravel that is just under 6 inches deep. The rest of the area utilizes deep water culture with an air gap. I have standard pine fence boards that sit on the edge of the grow bed and 3 inch wide net pots that are approximately 3 inches deep and do not touch the water. The roots dip into the water, leaving the net pot in an air space to grow air roots.

This is a picture of the bed being planted for the first time with bell peppers and tomatoes.
