Filter is made of plastic collander, window screen, polyester fiber fill. Has a styrofoam collar for flotation. Solids are lifted through 3/4" PVC with a 3/4" to 1/2" Tee at bottom to allow airstone insertion from the side. As air rises in tube it creates bubbles that make water in tube more buoyant and rises sucking in water from below together with the solid wastes. Notice the green vegetation residue on the screening material.
